Business Licensing

To apply for a business license, please download the application below and mail to PO Box 127 or email to djones@thomasvilleal.com. If you have any questions regarding a business license for our city, please contact Debbie Jones at 334-637-3350. 

Permits

All applications must be approved by the Ordinance Compliance Officer before a permit will be granted.

Please fill out the application and mail, email or fax to the Permit and Ordinance Office.

HVAC, Building, Electrical and Plumbing permits on commercial work will have a State of Alabama (CICT) Construction Industry Craft Training program fee added to regular permit. The fee is $1 for every $1000 of construction, amount will be rounded to $1000 if over $500.

ALL CONTRACTORS MUST HAVE A CITY OF THOMASVILLE BUSINESS LICENSE WHEN CONDUCTING WORK IN THE CITY LIMITS OR WITHIN THE POLICE JURISDICTION OF THOMASVILLE
